My last article at RAC (November 25, 2016):
RAC is the biggest ‘free’ platform in Britain and our policy is to do anything it takes to fight racism in its place. In particular, we’ll fight to get out anti-racist education and training materials from schools because they have no power to enforce them, and we’ll oppose any school that fails to pass these standards. Of course there is some good anti-racism work, and there are some anti-racist teachers around. But we can get them on board. And it will be vital that the right work gets out to them first before the right work gets out to black and ethnic minority school-leavers.
Now we want to address the big news this week. In order to win over the racist right’s black ‘enemies’ in a country that has historically been predominantly white, we can put the same kind of hard work on black youth: by challenging all racism, and by working against the racist right. The best way to do that is to put the same hard work and resources into the schools where racism is most common, and where young black people are likely to live: at black and white schools with the worst rates of racial segregation and by making it possible to tackle these problems in schools with the least resources.
On Monday (August 31), RAC will publish a report on the situation for black children in primary an바카라d secondary schools, and the way racist racism manifests itself in these areas, using the latest data provided by the government-funded anti-racism and education (ARED) network of schools.
We have spent several months tracking the problems facing black and minority children. This includes data from children, parents and local authority 더킹카지노officials across the country, and using it to assess how schools in the most racially segregated areas are handling race relations. This report looks at the key 바카라forces behind the problem: where racism is most active, racial isolation and negative attention to racial diversity is most likely to take place, and where it is weakest – the schools with the least resources, where, by definition, most black children grow up. We have identified the main components of that picture, including schools with the best performance on measures such as:
· racism, anti-racist measures and teacher participation and support
· schools with the least support for students of black and black ethnic minorities
· schools of any size with raciall
