WEST BROOK, MI: An open carry, gun rights group is threatening legal action against the county, its parks system and police.The group, Westboro Baptist, says a woman was killed on Sunday night while looking for a friend during a group shooting at a park in West Brownsville. The gunman, identified as Eric Brown, 38, was killed inside the park during a 10 p.m. shooting. Brown apparently came to West Brownsville to fight the same group that took the life of his roommate Tuesday night.”We’re gonna put it on their web site and tell people that we’re going to hold their government responsible,” said Westboro Baptist founder Fred Phelps, with the group’s website.Phelps added, “the people are gonna feel it and they’re gonna know that that’s the government that’s putting their life in jeopardy.”On Monday Phelps issued his own warning. “They’re all going to have to be on it,” he said. “They don’t have much room on the front.
